Instructions

Individual Models

• Click on the link below for the model set you want
• Save to your ~/.ucdmcmc_models folder (this needs to be created or is made automatically when you first start ucdmcmc)

Full Model Set

• Download the file allmodels.tar.gz to your computer (Warning: 20 Gb)
• Unpack this gzip tarball and move the resulting *.h5 files to your ~/.ucdmcmc_models folder

You can test that this worked by importing the model into ucdmcmc:

Wavelength arrays

• EUCLID: EUCLID NISP, covering 0.9-1.9 micron at a median resolution of 350, matched to observed data for EUCLID J0359-4740 from Dominguez-Tagle et al. (2025)
• FIRE-PRISM: Magellan FIRE Prism mode, covering 0.8-2.5 micron at a median resolution of 250, matched to observed data for Ross 458C from Burgasser et al. (2010)
• FIRE-ECHELLE: Magellan FIRE Echelle mode, covering 0.8-2.5 micron at a median resolution of 6000, matched to observed data for UGPS J0722-0540 from Bochanski et al. (2010)
• JWST-NIRSPEC-G395H: JWST NIRSPEC G395H mode, covering 2.8-5.2 micron at a median resolution of 2000 , matched to observed data for Wolf 113C from Burgasser et al. (2024)
• JWST-NIRSPEC-PRISM: JWST NIRSPEC Prism mode, covering 0.5--6 micron matched at a variable resolution of 30-300, matched to observed data for Wolf 113C from Burgasser et al. (2024)
• JWST-MIRI-LRS: JWST MIRI LRS mode, JWST MIRI LRS mode, covering 4.55--13.5 at a variable resolution of 40-160, matched to observed data for SDSS J1624+0029 from Beiler et al. (2024)
• JWST-NIRSPEC-MIRI: combination of NIRSPEC Prism and MIR LRS, covering 0.5-13.5 micron at a variable resolution of 30-300, matched to observed data for SDSS J1624+0029 from Beiler et al. (2024)
• SPEX-PRISM: IRTF SpeX Prism mode, covering 0.65-2.56 micron at a median resolution of 150, matched to observed data for 2MASS J0559-1404 from Burgasser et al. (2006)
• ROMAN-GRISM: Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope pre-flight grism (G150) dispersion measurement as reported in Bray et al. (2024).
• ROMAN-PRISM: Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope pre-flight prism (P127) dispersion measurement as reported in Bray et al. (2024).
• SPEX-SXD: IRTF SpeX SXD mode, covering 0.65-2.56 micron at a median resolution of 2000, matched to observed data for 2MASS J0559-1404 from Cushing et al. (2005)
• STIS-SXD: custom template to match combination of HST/STIS and SpeX/SXD modes, covering 0.2-2.5 micron at a median resolution of 2000 matched to observed data for Wolf 1130A from Zhang et al. (in prep).
